Tana Pierro

Tana Pierro, BA (they/them) is a graduate of Hampshire College with a concentration in fine art and developmental psychology. They are currently a student within the University of Pittsburgh’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. Before coming back to academia, Tana taught as an early childhood educator for several years. While working, Tana spent time developing and organizing adaptive climbing programming in New York and Ohio. These experiences informed their current passion, which is exploring the intersectionality between occupational therapy and recreational therapy. They joined the lab in 2022.
