LeRoy Downs is the new Research Specialist joining the Leland Lab team. Dr. Leland and I know each other from my work as a project specialist and lab manager for The Musculoskeletal Sonography & Occupational Performance Lab at the University of Southern California focusing on the prevention of carpal tunnel syndrome. I have also worked and provided support for several research projects at USC including; Project Red, focusing on the effects of second and third hand tobacco smoke at the Institute of Preventative Medicine, and the FAME Project focusing on the improvement childhood obesity.
